Senior Process Engineer

Responsibilities

Evaluate, optimize, and oversee wastewater treatment processes while integrating advanced modeling, simulation, and control strategies.
Employ specialized software for modeling and simulation (SIMBA#) to analyze, predict, and enhance wastewater treatment system performance.
Develop and implement control strategies to optimize process efficiency, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
Conduct process evaluations, identify areas for improvement, and troubleshoot technical issues related to process performance. and control systems
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate and commission control systems for wastewater treatment facilities.
Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations on process modeling, simulation outcomes, and control system recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of hands-on experience in wastewater treatment, with a focus on modeling, simulation, and controls.
Proficiency in modeling and simulation software (preferred SIMBA#) and experience in control strategies.
In-depth knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and an understanding of regulatory compliance.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and optimize control strategies.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
Strong communication and collaboration skills in English.
Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Experience with programming languages for control systems (e.g., MATLAB, Octave, Python).
Familiarity with advanced control algorithms and machine learning applied to wastewater treatment.
Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies for process optimization.
