inCTRL is internationally renowned for its expertise in dynamic process modeling and especially for model-supported design of process control solutions. Our experts will use state-of -the-art simulation and modeling tools to help optimize your wastewater treatment plant. A suite of in-house models is available to simulate your wastewater treatment plant (or other parts of the urban water system) and its process control system in unmatched detail.

inCTRL’s key personnel are leading experts in modeling and simulation of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment processes. Leiv Rieger chairs the International Water Association (IWA) task group on Good Modelling Practice and is the Chair of the Water Environment Federation (WEF) sub-committee MEGA (Modeling Expert Group of the Americas). He authored two chapters in the Water Environment Federation (WEF) Manual of Practice No. 31 Wastewater Treatment Process Modeling. Oliver Schraa has conducted modeling and simulation projects for clients around the world. With his experience and strong background in chemical engineering he developed several models for municipal and industrial wastewater treatment processes.

We can support you in questions related to model selection, calibration, and model application. We also provide consulting services if you want to hire us for model developments, plant optimization studies or for evaluating energy saving potentials. inCTRL truly understands dynamics and is able to design tailored process control solutions by using state-of-the-art modeling and simulation tools. As the world-wide reseller and co-developers of the simulation platform SIMBA#, we provide industry-leading training and software support.

Due to SIMBA#’s unparallelled flexibility we are able to provide individual model developments or tailored software solutions.
